I was trying to gauge the amount of scat you need to have a reliable sample by going on line to read more on the topic. Gathering and studying scat is an intriguing topic for kids. I've not encouraged them to begin collecting themselves but just in case a few curious Jr. scientists take it to the next level have emphasized the use of gloves. (We'll go out to the school woods this week looking for evidence of living things. Hope to find deer, rabbit, raccoon, and coyote tracks.) Great lessons provided on this link!

Yes Goose, sadly many people still shoot Wolverines but laws will most likely change that to save Wolverines. William
